Dřínov (German Drzinow , also Dřínow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located west of Kroměříž and belongs to the Okres Kroměříž .

geography

Dřínov is located in the north-eastern foothills of the Littentschitzer hill country at the transition to the Upper Moravian Depression ( Hornomoravský úval ). Neighboring towns are Unčice, Pavlovice u Kojetina and Srbce in the north-west and north, Vlčí Doly in the east and Uhřice in the south-east.

history

The first written mention of the place comes from 1348 and shows Dřínov as the property of Jiří z Bojanovic . The place changed hands (from 1670 as Fideikommiß , mostly with Wrchoslawitz to the north) in the course of history. From 1653 the history of the place is firmly linked to the Desfours and Desfours-Walderode families .
