Troubky-Zdislavice is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 14 kilometers southwest of Kroměříž ( Kremsier ) in Moravia and belongs to the Zlín region .
geography
The municipality is located on the left side of the Olšinka in the east of the Littentschitzer Uplands . To the southwest is the Mars Mountains and its highest point Brdo rises seven kilometers away. The state road 428 between Morkovice-Slížany and Zdounky runs through Troubky .
Neighboring towns are Zborovice in the north, Zdounky and Těšánky in the east, Lebedov and Prachař in the southeast, Honětice in the south, Hoštice in the southwest, and Slížany in the northwest.
history
The community was created in 1960 through the merger of the independent towns Troubky and Zdislavice.
Troubky
Troubky was first mentioned in a document in 1281, the owners of the place were the Schochs de Trubek. For a long time the place was divided into a feudal portion of the Diocese of Olomouc and the allodial portion belonging to the Zdounky rule. Since 1549 the lords of Zástřizl can be proven as owners. In 1869 there were 649 people in Troubek. Parish for Troubky and also Zdislavice is Zborovice .
Zdislavice
The southwestern Zdislavice can be traced back to 1349 and also belonged to the Lords of Trubek. At the end of the 17th century, the old stone fortress was converted into a castle. Around 1840, the Zdislavice Castle received its present-day appearance under the Dubský counts of Třebomyslice. In 1869 Zdislavice had 412 inhabitants. In 1887 the Zdislav Reading Association was established and existed until the Second World War.
The remains of the desert fortress Svárov lie between Zdislavice and Hoštice.
Local division
Troubky-Zdislavice consists of the districts Troubky ( Troubek ) and Zdislavice ( Sdislawitz ).
Attractions
- Zdislavice Castle. The castle's furniture is said to have been auctioned in 1945 and the library of the writer Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach with numerous dedicatory copies was shredded in a paper mill. After 1948 the castle was converted into a cultural center. Today the castle is in a dilapidated condition. Besides the repaired roof, u. a. smashed window panes and crumbling lion figures visible.
- Burial place of Count Dubský. Probably built according to plans by Moritz von Ebner-Eschenbach , with the final resting place of his wife Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach.
