Počenice-Tetětice is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 13 kilometers west of Kroměříž and belongs to the Okres Kroměříž .
geography
Počenice-Tetětice is located in the northern foothills of the Litentschitzer hill country in the valley of the Tištínka brook. The Vejvaň (298 m) and the Hájky (348 m) rise to the north, the Čizová (363 m) in the northeast, the Hambalky (374 m) and the Troják ( Dreystein , 396 m) to the east, and the Přední díly (343 m) to the south ) and the Kleštěnec (498 m)
Neighboring towns are Unčice, Pavlovice u Kojetina , Dřínov and Vlčí Doly in the north, Srnov and Věžky in the northeast, Popovice and Rataje in the east, Medlov and Zborovice in the southeast, Troubky , Zdislavice and Slížany in the south, Morkovice , Pornice, Pačlavice and Kratochwestenvíle , Prasklice and Pančocha in the west and Okluky, Osíčany , Koválovice u Tištína and Uhřice in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of Počenice was in 1283, that of Tetětice in 1358.
From 1850, both places formed independent communities in the Kremsier district administration . At the beginning of 1961 the merger took place to form a municipality Počenice-Tetětice .

The municipality Počenice-Tetětice consists of the districts Počenice ( Potschenitz ) and Tetětice ( Tetietitz ) as well as the single layer Srnov.
