history

The first written mention of Cetohouicih took place in 1131 in a property register of the Olomouc bishop Heinrich Zdik under the goods of the church in Spytihněv . Between 1220 and 1250 Cethocoviz belonged to the possessions of the Velehrad monastery . The next owner was Smil von Zbraslav and Střílky , who left the village in 1261 to the Smilheim Monastery, which he had founded . Between 1302 and 1320 the village belonged to Ondra de Cziethochowicz. Subsequently, the owners changed frequently, including members of various branches of the Vladiken von Zástřizl . Further forms of the name were Cethochowicz (1307), Czethocowicz (1330), Cethuhowicz (1373), Czetochowicz (1374), Cyethechouicz (1405), Četochovic (1407), Czetechowicz (1437) and Cethechowicz (1463). The Czetochowicz fortress was first mentioned in 1481. The rule of Cetechovice had its own embarrassing jurisdiction between the 15th and 17th centuries on the basis of the neck court order of the royal city of Hradiště . In 1522 Jindřich von Zástřizl acquired the monastic share of Roštín in the course of an exchange of goods with the Velehrad monastery , in 1540 he bought the Honětice estate and connected both goods to Cetechovice. The place name is from 1550 Czietochowicz and from 1611 the village was called Czietochowicze . In the middle of the 17th century Melichar Ledenický of Ledenice owned the rule, he broke up Honětice in 1655 and sold it to Jan Kokorský on Zdislavice. The oldest local seal dates from 1680. At that time, three limestone quarries were added to the southeast of the village. The Cetechowitz marble obtained there was used in the construction of churches and castles in Moravia. The place was on the post road from Litenčice to Hradiště, where the Vlčák spans were set up in the 18th century on the pass over the Martian Mountains on the Pláňava. The Poststraße also formed the border between the Cetechowitzer Forest and the Buchlover Forest. In the first half of the 18th century the reign belonged to Joseph Anton von Mayerswald. From this the property passed to Amanda Antonia von Peterswald in 1739. She joined Roštín, which had belonged to Střílky since 1692 , back to Cetechovice. From 1763 the Lords of Kuenburg followed as landlords. Until the middle of the 19th century, Cetechovice was an allodial property.

After the abolition of patrimonial Četechovice / Cetechowitz formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Kremsier and the judicial district Zdounek . In 1885 the Counts Khuenburg sold the goods to Sigmund von Herberstein . Since 1890 the municipality used the name Cetechovice / Zetechowitz .
