history
The first written mention comes from the year 1228. The place Bařice was then bought by the Archdiocese of Olomouc to the monastery Velehrad . At that time there was a small fortress with a moat and rampart in the village. The Catholic population lived from agriculture. The place was hit twice by the plague and several times partially destroyed by fire, hail and storm.

Attractions
- German type windmill, built in 1830 by Josef Bartoň. The mill was mainly used by the locals. It fell into disrepair after it was no longer used, but was then restored and has been a cultural monument since 1960.
