history

The first written mention of Nouum Hosek ( Nový Osek ) took place in 1360, when the Olomouc bishopric bought the village together with Příkazy and sold both villages to Zdeněk von Domaželice. In 1371 Zdeněk's widow Magdalena sold her share of the mill and the forest in Osschezska to Kuník von Drahotouš. In 1403 Osečko belonged to the episcopal rule Kelč . A purchase contract from that year between the bailiff Šimek and a Tomáš from Loukov not only proves the existence of a bailiwick, but also its extensive privileges. The bailiff of Osečko had the right to hunt and felling in the manorial forests for his own use and was allowed to practice saddlery, blacksmithing and butchering. In addition, a Frei Krretscham belonged to the bailiwick . In 1499 the village was called Osecko . It was parish first to Horní Újezd and in 1653 after the abolition of the local parish was parish to Všechovice . In the hoof register of 1676 17 farms are shown for Osytzka , two of which were in desolation. The oldest place seal comes from the transition from the 17th to the 18th century; it was used until 1820 and is labeled POCTIWA OBEC OSICKA . In 1718 the village was called Ossicžka and in 1720 as Ositzko . The residents were obliged to do labor to maintain the road from Bystřice pod Hostýnem to Valašské Meziříčí . Since the re-establishment of the parish Horní Újezd in 1785, the village has again belonged to their district. Until the middle of the 19th century, Ossiczko always remained submissive to Kelč.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Osíčko / Ossiczko 1850 a municipality in the district administration Holleschau and the judicial district of Bistrita . In 1854 Osičko had 211 inhabitants. During the German War in 1866 Prussian cuirassiers were quartered in Osičko for five weeks . Since 1872 the village has been called Osíčko . In 1883, sugar beet cultivation for the Hulín sugar factory began in Osíčko. In 1888 the municipality bought the building of the abandoned hunting ground in Příkazy and set up a school in it, in which only children from Osíčko were educated. Between 1886 and 1888 the railway line from Bystřice pod Hostýnem to Valašské Meziříčí was built. In Příkazy a train station was built, which was named "Příkazy-Osíčko". The residents of Příkazy and Osíčko founded a communal fire brigade in 1899. In 1908 the communities Osíčko and Příkazy agreed on the admission of the children from Příkazy to the school located on their cadastre. In 1930 Osíčko was electrified. At the beginning of 1951, Příkazy and Osíčko were merged into one municipality. This was given the name Osíčko, although Příkazy was the larger of the two villages. After the dissolution of the Okres Holešov, the community was assigned to the Okres Kroměříž in 1960. Between 1961 and 1983 Příkazy had the status of a district. Since 1995 the community has had a coat of arms and a banner.
