history

Provodovice formed an episcopal feud at the beginning of the 14th century , which was first mentioned in 1302 as the feudal village of Šaumburk Castle . The owner at that time was the cupbearer of Olomouc Bishop Theoderich von Neuhaus and his predecessor Bruno von Schauenburg , Mikuláš von Šaumburk. In 1320 the village was called Prowodouicz . Later the village was subject to the New Šaumburk . Other forms of the place name were Prewodowicze (1377), Prodowicz (1389), Provodice (1574), Prowodowicz (1675) and Prowodowicium (1771).

After the abolition of patrimonial Provodovice / Prowodowitz formed from 1850 a community in the district authority Holleschau . During the German occupation , the place was assigned to the Mährisch Weißkirchen district in 1942 . After the end of the Second World War, the community came back to Okres Holešov. After its abolition, Provodovice was assigned to the Okres Přerov in 1960. From 1973 Provodovice was initially affiliated to the Local National Committee Všechovice and since 1983 it has been completely incorporated into Všechovice. Since November 24, 1990 Provodovice has again been a separate municipality. Ethnographically the place belongs to the Hanna region Záhoran.
