history
The first news about the village comes from the 11th century, when the daughter of nobleman Vojtěch von Radíkov, Ludmila, married the lord of Drahotuš castle, knight Jan Horecký. The village belonging to the Drahotuš castle was first mentioned in documents in 1353. In 1371 the brothers Bohuš, Kuno, Jaroš and Ješek von Drahotuš sold the rule to Margrave Johann Heinrich . His son Jobst pledged Drahotuš in 1405 to Ctibor von Tobitschau and Cimburg . After the pledge had expired, the village passed into the possession of the Cimburger in 1408. In 1416 Wenceslaus IV handed over the Drahotuš property as an allod to his chief steward, Lacek I von Krawarn . In 1427 the Hussites occupied the area. The Drahotuš goods passed to Heník von Waldstein in 1437 , but he did not become the owner of the Drahotuš castle. In 1465, Ctibor Tovačovský von Cimburg became the owner of the Drahotuš estates. He sold the rule to Wilhelm II von Pernstein in 1476 . In 1543 the village was attached to the dominion of Weißkirchen . Four years later, the Pernsteiner Weißkirchen sold to Wenzel Haugwitz von Biskupitz. This left the property in 1553 to Jan Kropáč of Nevědomí. In 1569 the village had 21 inhabitants. Jan Kropáč's daughter and heiress Anna married Johann the younger of Zerotein after the death of her husband Jan von Kunovice . He was succeeded by Dietrich von Kunowitz, who handed over the rule to Zdeněk von Pottenstein and Žampach in the course of an exchange in 1600. Karl Berger von Berg was the owner between 1610 and 1612. He was followed by Václav Mol von Modřelice. Its goods were confiscated after the Battle of White Mountain in 1621 and sold to Cardinal Franz Xaver von Dietrichstein in the following year . The Dietrichstein family remained the owners of the Radíkov estates until the 19th century. After the Thirty Years' War, Germans moved in. From 1672, Radelsdorf can be identified as a name in addition to Radíkow.
After the abolition of patrimonial Radikow / Radelsdorf became an independent municipality in the district administration of Mährisch Weißkirchen in 1850. With the death of Joseph von Dietrichstein, the line in the male member became extinct in 1858. His daughter and heiress sold the goods to the Countess zu Hatzfeld-Weisweiler .
In the course of the territorial reform of 1960 and the dissolution of the Okres Hranice Klokočí was assigned to the Okres Přerov on January 1, 1961 . In 1997, a small reservoir was built on Lukavec, which is used for flood protection. Radíkov has been a member of the Podlesí microregion since 2000. The place has had a coat of arms and a banner since 2005.
