history
Archaeological finds show that the area was settled in the 1st century. It is believed that in Soběchleby already at the time of St. Method of Salonica, a church with Slavic liturgy existed. The parish was created under Bishop Bruno von Schauenburg . The first written mention of the village of Zobochleb , which belonged to the Helfenstein lordship, took place in 1368 as the property of Jan von Krawarn (1323-1369). He had previously had a larger Gothic church built instead of the old Romanesque church. In 1406 the place was called Sobiechleby . The oldest place seal dates from 1447; it shows a cross, beneath it a bread and a knife and bears the inscription SOBYECHLEBY . In 1555 the Moravian Brothers established a Brothers School. From 1600 the local bailiff was chosen through an election process. In 1620, the Helfenstein rule ended the permanent bailiff and from then on appointed the richest farmer as bailiff. During the Thirty Years' War, the Helfenstein rule fell to the Dietrichsteiners , who made Leipnik the seat of the rule. From 1633 the place name Sobiechleb and from 1771 the Latin form Sobiechlebium is proven. In 1654 the cantor Johann Georg Koth from Fulnek came to Soběchleby and also took over the teaching post. The Koth family, also Kottek or Kotek , provided teachers in Soběchleby without interruption until 1884. This 230-year family tradition is unique in Moravia. In 1711 the school was raised by one floor and two-class classes were started. The registers in Soběchleby have been kept since 1718. From 1740 a third class was taught in a chaluppe, with 300 children aged six to twelve being taught in Soběchleby. In 1752 , the Lords of Dietrichstein gave the village a new seal with three loaves of bread and two winemaker's knives bearing the inscription Sobiechleb . The new church was built between 1754 and 1770. The houses were numbered in 1770 and 1771. In 1774, the Leipnik rule abolished the Bailiwick in Soběchleby and established an inheritance court . Until the middle of the 19th century, the village was subject to the rule of Leipnik .
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Soběchleby / Sobiechleb after 1850 with the establishment Símře a municipality in the district administration Moravian Weisskirchen . Between 1884 and 1888 the road to Lipník nad Bečvou was built and in 1892 the road to Símře. The school was rebuilt in 1895. Land consolidations took place between 1907 and 1935. After the Okres Hranice was abolished, Soběchleby was added to the Okres Přerov in 1960. Between 1961 and 1983 Símře had the status of a district. In 1976 the surrounding communities Dolní Nětčice , Hlinsko , Horní Nětčice , Kladníky , Lhota , Radotín and Žákovice were affiliated to the Local National Committee Soběchleby and in 1983 they were completely incorporated. On November 24, 1990, the incorporated localities broke away again.
