history
The first written mention of the village of Radotin , subject to the rule of Helfenstein, was made in 1447. In the tax register of 1516, 20 properties are listed for Radotin . During the Thirty Years' War , the Helfenstein rule fell to the Dietrichsteiners , who made Leipnik the seat of the rule. The registers have been kept in Soběchleby since 1718. In Latin scripts, the place was referred to as Radotinium from 1771 . By the Education Act in 1870 the parish schools in Soběchleby and Bezuchov were converted into elementary schools. Until the middle of the 19th century, the village always remained subservient to Leipnik.
After the abolition of patrimonial Radotin formed from 1850 a community in the district administration Mährisch Weißkirchen . The place name Radotín has been in use since 1872 . Between 1884 and 1888 the road from Lipník nad Bečvou to Kelč was built . In the following years the Radotín farmers increasingly grew sugar beets, which they delivered to the Lipník sugar factory. The road to Símře was built in 1897. After a sugar factory was established in Dřevohostice in 1897 , beet growing was increased and the majority of the farmers bought shares in the Drzewohosticz Agricultural Actien sugar factory. In 1908 the rounding of fields began in Radotín, the village was one of the first in the region after Oprostovice. After the dissolution of the Okres Hranicce, the community was assigned to the Okres Přerov. In 1976 Radotín was affiliated to the Local National Committee Soběchleby and in 1983 it was completely incorporated into Soběchleby. Since 1990 Radotín has formed its own municipality again.
