history

Finds of barrows show that the area was settled in the 8th and 9th centuries.

The first documentary evidence of the village of Parisouicih was made in 1141 in an inventory of the Olomouc bishop Heinrich Zdik . In the parish inventory from 1806 there is a silver goblet with the inscription Matai Kostruch, Mikulass Wawra 1059 , which, however, was given to the Reichsmünze when the state bankruptcy in 1811. It is considered likely that the actual year on the chalice must have been either 1559 or 1659. In 1371 Jan von Dobrotice Pareschowicze sold to the owner of the Helfenstein estate , Wok III. of Krawarn . In 1447 the village was called Paressowicz , 1452 Paryšovice , 1554 Pavišovice, 1609 Parešovice , 1627 Pareschowitz , 1684 Parschowitz , 1718 Pahrsowitz and 1794 Parscowitz . During the Thirty Years' War, the Helfenstein rule fell to the Dietrichsteiners , who made Leipnik the seat of the rule. The registers were kept in Soběchleby since 1718. The oldest local seal dates from 1752; it bears the inscription PARSCHOWITZ and shows a griffin holding a Dietrichstein winegrower's knife in its claws. In 1784 a parish school was set up in a wooden chalet with funds from the religious fund. In 1812 the school moved into a newly built larger building. In 1826 the old wooden church from the 16th century was replaced by a new building. Until the middle of the 19th century, the village was always subject to the rule of Leipnik.

After the abolition of patrimonial Pařovice / Parschowitz formed from 1850 a community in the district administration Mährisch Weißkirchen . In 1868 Valšovice, which had previously belonged to Opatovice, was incorporated. In 1870 the children from Opatovice and Rakov started school. Since the previous school turned out to be too small, a new schoolhouse was built between 1897 and 1899 opposite the parish garden. It was finally inaugurated under the name of the Jubilee School of the People's Emperor Franz Joseph I (Jubilejní škola národní císaře Františka Josefa I). The old school house was sold to an innkeeper for 1,600 guilders. The current place name Paršovice has been used since 1881. In 1900 the church burned down. Between 1902 and 1908 the road to Leipnik was built . After a school was opened in Valšovice in 1911, only the local children attended the Paršovice school. The village has been connected to the electricity supply since 1930. In 1930 the community bought 30 hectares of land from Antoinette Countess Althann for 160,000 crowns. Two-class classes began in Paršovice in 1937. The following year a new cemetery was laid out for the villages Paršovice, Rakov and Valšovice. The syringe house was built between 1954 and 1959. Valšovice formed its own municipality from 1955. After the Okres Hranice was abolished, Paršovice was added to the Okres Přerov in 1960. In 1975 the new seat of the Local National Committee (MNV) and the community library was built in the former parish garden. The building is now used as the seat of the municipal administration as well as for medical practices and a hairdresser. In 1980 Paršovice was subordinated to the Local National Committee Opatovice together with Rakov. The Paršovice Primary School was closed in 1985. Since November 24, 1990 Paršovice is independent again. The municipality has had a coat of arms and a banner since 2004, created by the heraldist JV Pavlů.
