The corridors of the extinct village of Králova belong to Křtomil.

history

The finds of a burial ground and a settlement site near Ochozy show that the municipality was settled at an early age.

The first written mention of Krstomil took place in 1365 in the Olomouc country table . In 1374 the village was called Krsthomil . Up until the end of the 15th century, the property changed hands frequently. The Vladiken von Křtomil had a fortress built in the village, which can be traced back to 1498. In 1517 the lords of Zierotin bought the Křtomil estate on Dřevohostice. After the Battle of White Mountain , Zdeněk Vojtěch Popel von Lobkowicz acquired the confiscated goods Bystřice pod Hostýnem, Prusinovice and Dřevohostice, which had previously belonged to Jan Skrbenský von Hříště and Václav Bítovský von Bítov. The Křtomil fortress died out during the Thirty Years' War at the latest. Until the re-Catholicization in Křtomil there was a community of the Moravian Brothers , which also had a cemetery. Zdeněk's son Wenzel Eusebius von Lobkowicz sold part of the Dřevohostice estate, including Křtomil, to Johann Anton von Rottal in 1635 , who joined the village in 1650 to the Bystřice- Holešov estate . From 1718 the place was called Krežtomühl . The oldest local seal dates from 1749. In 1789 the property passed from the Counts Rottal to the Counts della Rovere di Monte l'Abbate and in 1804 Johann Nepomuk Count von Wengerský inherited the rule. He was followed in 1827 by the Counts Laudon. Until the middle of the 19th century, Krztomil always remained subordinate to Bystřice.

After the abolition of patrimonial Křtomil / Krztomil formed from 1850 a community in the district authority Holleschau . At the beginning of the 20th century, the municipality also used the name Krtomily . Until the middle of the 20th century, the water power of the Bystřička drove two mills. In the course of the territorial reform of 1960, Křtomil was incorporated into Lipová and at the same time assigned to the Okres Přerov after the Okres Holešov was abolished. On July 1, 1983, Křtomil was incorporated together with Lipová to Dřevohostice. Křtomil has been independent again since November 24, 1990. Since 2004 the community has had a coat of arms and a banner.

coat of arms

The coat of arms shows a golden sun and a red lion head with silver teeth on a blue background. The blue color symbolizes the Bystřička, the shining sun of the coat of arms of the Vladiken von Křtomil and the lion's head the coat of arms of Count Laudon.
