Horní Nětčice (German Ober Nietschitz , 1939-1945 Ober Netschitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eight kilometers north of Bystřice pod Hostýnem and belongs to the Okres Přerov .

geography

Horní Nětčice is located south of the Maleník Forest in the Podbeskydská pahorkatina ( Vorbeskidenhügelland ). The village is located on a hilltop between the valleys of the Dolnonětčický creeks, Rakovka and Býškovický creeks. The Maleník (479 m) rises to the north, the Mezicestí (337 m) to the northeast and the Pavelák (366 m) to the northwest.

Neighboring towns are Na Krásné Vyhlídce to the north, Rakov , Opatovice and Malhotice in the Northeast, Býškovice the east, Horní Újezd in the southeast, Vítonice in the south, Žákovský Mlyn, Žákovice and Lhotsko in the southwest, Símře, Bezuchov and Oprostovice the west and Radotín , Soběchleby and Dolní Nětčice in the north-west.

history

Nieczicz was first mentioned in a document in 1384 in the Brno country table . The entry indicates that the village was founded in 1250. In 1447 the place was called Nyeczicze Superior , 1480 as Horní Nětčice , 1530 as Horní Něčice , 1672 as Ober Nietschitz , 1688 as Ober Nieczicz and 1771 as Horní Němčice , Horno Niemczicz or Ober Niemschitz . The registers were kept in Soběchleby since 1718. Until the middle of the 19th century, the village was subject to the rule of Leipnik .

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Horní Něčice / Upper Nietschitz a municipality in the district administration in 1850 Weisskirchen Moravian . Between February 7 and 10, 1874, 56 houses burned down as there was no water to extinguish fire because of the snow. Between 1892 and 1918 the place was also called Ober Něčitz . The village has been called Horní Nětčice since 1924 . After the Okres Hranice was abolished, Horní Nětčice was added to the Okres Přerov in 1960. 1976 Horní Nětčice was connected to the Local National Committee Soběchleby and in 1983 it was completely incorporated into Soběchleby. Since November 24, 1990 Horní Nětčice has again formed its own municipality.

Sons and daughters of the church

  • Stanislav Zela (1893–1969), Catholic theologian and since 1941 auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Olomouc. The Olomouc Vicar General was sentenced to 25 years in prison in a show trial in 1950. In 1963, Zela was released from prison and was interned in the Radvanov Care House . He was rehabilitated shortly before his death.
