history

The first written mention of Přestavlky took place in 1264, when the Prerau burgrave Smil of Zbraslav and Střílky donated half of the village to the Smilheim Monastery, which he founded . The other part was owned by the Vladiken von Přestavlky. In 1347 they left their share to Vladiken Jakub von Dobrčice. From 1448 the entire village belonged to the Rzikowsky von Dobrzicz ( Říkovský von Dobrčice ), who also used the predicate of Přestavlk . The first reliable written evidence of the fortress dates from 1531 as the property of Vít Říkovský from Dobrčice. It was probably built in the 14th century on the square where an early medieval castle had already stood in the 10th century. According to another representation, this fortress is said to have been a predecessor of the castle and its walls in the east wing of the castle have been preserved. When Lennart Torstensson's army was encamped near Horní Moštěnice in 1643 , the Švédské šance was expanded to become a preliminary fortification for the Swedes; The current name of the hill comes from this time. The Přestavlk branch of the Říkovský died out in 1653. The fortress, which was destroyed during the Thirty Years' War, was mentioned for the last time in 1676. In 1683, Count Ferdinand von Magnis bought the estate for 24,000 guilders. Until the middle of the 19th century, Přestavlky was always an independent estate.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Přestavlky / Przestawelk 1850 a municipality in the district administration Kremsier . In 1863 the Counts Magnis sold the castle to the Archbishop of Olomouc Friedrich Egon von Fürstenberg , who had an Ursuline monastery built in it. The sisters set up a German girls' school in the castle. The community has been part of the Prerau district since 1880 . In 1908, instead of the girls' school, a Czech citizen school was established. On July 8, 2000, an F1 tornado in Přestavlky caused considerable damage. Ethnographically the village belongs to Hanna .

coat of arms

Since 1997 the community has had a coat of arms and a banner. They were designed by the Olomouc heraldist Jiří Louda. The armored arm and the morning star are borrowed from the coat of arms of the Rzikowsky von Dobrzicz.
