history

The first written mention of the place took place in 1339, when Georg de Domasolic in a document of the Church of St. Georg in Šternberk was named as a witness. In 1349, Viknan von Malenovice wrote over 60 Scherf from his income from Malenovice to Zdeněk von Domaželice and his wife as a dowry in the Olomouc country table . On May 8, 1369 the brothers Bun and Lucek from Domaželice and Lucek's sons Závis and Jiří sold the festivals, the farm and the village of Domaželice to the brothers Jan, Vok, Beneš and Ladislav from Krawarn on Fulnek for 200 Scherf groschen. Two years later, Vok, Držislav and Lacek von Krawarn bought Domaželice from Lucek, who at that time was using the Újezd label . In 1373 Hynek was named by Náklo as the owner of Domaželice, who gave his wife Anna 75 Scherf from the village, the fortress and the farm as a marriage property. In the following year Hynek and his brother Mikuláš sold the Domaželice fortress with the village and the church patronage to Lacek von Krawarn. The Olomouc canon Heřman von Krawarn took in 1385 together with his brother Hynek and Mikuláš from Náklos children Bohunka, Tervard and Alžběta Lacek von Krawarn and his sons in a community of property over all goods in Domaželice and Prosenice . In 1406 Tervard von Náklo took Čeňka von Tučín into the community of property. Through Tevard's second wife Alena, the property finally came to the Lords of Wolfenberg ( z Volfenberka ). In 1464 Johanna von Wolfenberg entered into a community of property with her husband Johann Stern von Stattenberg ( Jan Stern ze Štatenberku ). After Dorothea von Wolfenberg's death in 1481 Johanna von Wolfenberg sold the Domaželice fortress with the village, the mill and the church patronage to the brothers Wenzel, Bernhard and Cenko von Stattenberg, who also bought the Želatovice estate at the same time . In 1584, 58 subjects belonged to Johann Stern von Stattenberg. After his death the guardians of the heirs sold the fortress Domaželice with the villages Domaželice and Želatovice, the farm, the church patronage, the brewery, the Vorwerk and the mill Domaželice in 1592 for 12,336 guilders to Joachim Žeranovský von Sezemice and his wife Anna von Bítovskákovice. Two years later Domaželice belonged to Viktorin Freiberger von Wasserhof, who in 1596 acquired a share of Tučín from the Olomouc chapter . In 1599 Freiberger bought the fort and the village of Čechy . Through his daughter Anna, who was married to Johann Felix Rzikowsky von Dobrzicz, the property came to the Rzikowsky family. In 1671 Johann Rudolf Maximilian Rzikowsky von Dobrzicz sold his sister Magdalena, married Ullersdörfer von Nimptsch, the farm, the brewery, sheep farm, distillery and bath house in Domaželice as well as the farm and the mill in Čechy for 12,500 guilders. Their son Johann Burian Ullersdörfer bought the shares of his brothers Christoph and Ferdinand for 22,000 guilders in 1687 after his mother's death. On November 8, 1692, Johann Burian sold the domain of Domaželice with the villages of Čechy, Pavlovice and 13 houses from Tučín for 46,000 guilders to Friedrich von Oppersdorff . After von Oppersdorff had also acquired the rule Dřevohostice in 1693 , he united Domaželice and Dřevohostice into one rule Dřevohostice-Domaželice. Domaželice at that time consisted of 29 properties, in Čechy there were 35. In 1713 the Domaželice rule came under the embarrassing jurisdiction of the town of Dřevohostice. In 1791 the village consisted of 56 houses and had 322 inhabitants. The Dřevohostice line of the Counts of Oppersdorff expired in 1798 in the male line. The inheritance fell jointly to the siblings Antonia von Oppersdorff and Josefine, married Matuschka von Topolczan . After Josefine died in 1799, her widower Heinrich Bernhard Matuschka and his sons Eduard, Albrecht and Hermann inherited their share. Heinrich Bernhard Matuschka outlived his three sons and finally married his sister-in-law Antonia, who died in 1815. On November 4, 1820, he became the sole owner of the estate, which he sold to Karl Anton Czeike von Badenfeld in 1839.
