Podolí (German Podol , formerly Podoly ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers east of Přerov and belongs to the Okres Přerov .
geography
Podolí is located in the Záhoří ridge belonging to the Podbeskydská pahorkatina ( Vorbeskid Hills ) in the valley basin of the Podolský creek. The Plazy (315 m) rise to the northeast and the Nivky (265 m) to the southwest.
Neighboring towns are Radslavice , Sušice and Pavlovice u Přerova in the north, Šišma and Hradčany in the Northeast, Nahošovice the east, Dřevohostice , Novosady, Turovice and Domaželice the southeast, Čechy and Prusy in the south, Horni Moštěnice and Újezdec in the southwest, Želatovice the west and Tučín in the north-west.
history
The first written mention of the place was in 1349. Podolí has always belonged to the Leipzig parish since the beginning of the 15th century . The oldest local seal dates from 1704 and shows a tree-cutting woodcutter.
After the abolition of patrimonial Podolí / Podoly formed a municipality in the Kremsier district administration from 1850 . The community has been part of the Prerau district since 1880 . In 1955 Podolí had its own cemetery. Podolí was incorporated into Želatovice in 1976 . After the Velvet Revolution , Podolí formed its own community again in 1990. Ethnographically the village belongs to Hanna .
