history
The first written mention of the Vladiken Beneš and Dobeš from Šišma was in 1348 in the founding deed of Charles University in Prague . In 1374 Lovek from Šišma and in 1415 Jan Diva from Šišma was named as the owner of the fortress Šišma. The latter was one of the signatories of a protest at the Council of Constance against the burning of Jan Hus . The Vladiks of Šišma held the property until the Hussite Wars . In 1437 the fortress belonged to Šišma Artleb Klepař von Medařice, followed a little later by Prokop von Prusinowitz , Johann von Ludanitz and from 1503 Albrecht Barský von Baští. In 1558 Burian Barský von Baští sold the fortress Šišma with all the associated villages to Wilhelm von Zierotin , who connected the goods to his rule Dřevohostice . The festival lost its importance and fell into disrepair.
After the abolition of patrimonial Šišma / Schisma formed from 1850 a community in the district authority Holleschau . The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1937. After the Okres Holešov was abolished, the community was assigned to the Okres Přerov in 1960. Šišma has had a coat of arms and a banner since 1995. Ethnographically the village belongs to Hanna .
