history

According to tradition, Troubky was founded by residents of Člunek, a town on a Bečva island, who left their village because of frequent floods. According to the legends, the place name should be derived from the leader of the colonists, a Freiherr Trúbek or, according to another version, from the water pipes of a horse trough located here.

The first written mention of the Trubka rule with the village of Člunek was in the Olomouc country table in 1348, when Erhard von Kunstadt wrote a morning gift of 300 pounds groschen to his wife . In 1380 Ctibor Kazka from Cimburg on Tovačov acquired the dominion and fortress Trubek and joined them to Tovačov. Further forms of the name were Trubec and Trubca (1382), Trubky (1418), Troubky (1519), Travbki (1661), Traubky (1676), Trubeca (1688), Trubek (1720), Traubek and Troubek (1751) and Trubech (1771) ). Other owners included Ctibor II. Tovačovský von Cimburg , during whose time the village was referred to in 1476 as desolate. In 1503 Wilhelm II von Pernstein acquired the rule of the Cimburgers . The village seal with coat of arms given to the community in 1570 by his grandson Vratislav von Pernstein is one of the oldest in the country. It shows the aurochs head of the Pernsteiner , two hunting horns and a ploughshare on a shield divided into four parts. In 1597 Johann von Pernstein sold the rule. The subsequent owners were the Counts Salm-Neuburg between 1600 and 1715 , then the Lords von Peterswald until 1763 and then the Counts Kuenburg . The registers were kept in Přerov since 1629 , in Tovačov since 1715 and in Troubky from 1768. Until the middle of the 19th century, the village was always subject to the Lords of Kuenburg on Tovačov.

After the abolition of patrimonial, Troubky / Troubek formed a community in the Kremsier District Commission from 1850 . In 1855 the community was assigned to the Prerau district and again in 1868 to the Kremsier district. Since 1877 the village belongs to the Okres Přerov. During the German occupation , the place was given the German name Röhren . Part of the municipality cadastre was attached to Henčlov in 1956. From 1960 the village had the name Troubky nad Bečvou , in 1990 the addition nad Bečvou was removed again. On March 3, 1991 Troubky had 2,070 inhabitants. At the beginning of July 1997 Troubky was hit by the flood of the Bečva. The March, which is also heavily flooded, caused the water masses to backflow. The village was completely flooded, with nine people dead and 150 houses destroyed. In the 2001 census, there were 1988 people living in the community's 569 houses. In May 2010 Troubky was again by a flood inundated the Bečva.

Ethnographically the community belongs to Hanna and the locals call the place Tróbky .
