history
The first written mention of Lyppowe was in 1368 in the Olomouc country table . Lipová did not form a single property, but was divided between several owners. Between 1447 and 1480 the whole of Lipová belonged to the Dřevohostice estate. In 1490, Vladike Beneš from Křtomil was registered as the owner of Lipová. His descendants sold the fortress and the Křtomil farm with half of Lipová and the desert village of Karlov in 1498 to Ar Kleb von Víckov. Karlov was documented until 1420 and perished during the troubled times of the 15th century, probably during the Hussite Wars or the Bohemian-Hungarian War. It is not known when Končany went out. It is believed that the inhabitants of the two abandoned villages settled in Lipová on the trade route from Přerov to Bystřice pod Hostýnem . In 1517 Arkle von Víckov sold Křtomil with all accessories to the brothers Bernhard and Wenzel von Zierotin in Dřevohostice. After the Battle of White Mountain , Zdeněk Vojtěch Popel von Lobkowicz acquired the confiscated goods Bystřice pod Hostýnem, Prusinovice and Dřevohostice, which had previously belonged to Václav Bítovský von Bítov. Zdeněk's son Wenzel Eusebius von Lobkowicz sold parts of the Dřevohostice manor, including Lipová, to Johann Anton von Rottal in 1635 , who joined the village to his Bystřice manor and in 1650 to the Bystřice- Holešov dominion . In the hoof register of 1675 there are 32 properties for Lipová. The oldest local seal comes from the end of the 18th or beginning of the 19th century. It bears the inscription Lipowa and shows a heart surrounded by three flowers, a six , a flail, a ploughshare and several flowers. In 1789 the property passed from Count Rottal to Count della Rovere di Monte l´Abbate and in 1804 Johann Nepomuk Count von Wengerský inherited the rule. He was followed in 1827 by the Counts Laudon. In 1809 a one-class village school was established in Lippowa . Until the middle of the 19th century, Lippowa always remained subordinate to Bystřice.
After the abolition of patrimonial Lipova / Lipowa formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Křtomil in the district authority Holleschau . The current place name Lipová has been used since 1854. Since 1868 Lipová formed its own municipality. Until 1916, the Krutil family ran a slivovitz distillery that was well known in the region. The hydropower of the Bystřička drove two mills, called mlýn Na Hrázi and Dolní mlýn , until the middle of the 20th century . During the German occupation the place was given the German name Linden and in 1942 it was assigned to the Mährisch Weißkirchen district . After the end of the Second World War, this was reversed.
In the course of the territorial reform of 1960, the municipality Lipová was assigned to the Okres Přerov after the repeal of the Okres Holešov. In 1964 Křtomil was incorporated . On July 1, 1983 Lipová was incorporated into Dřevohostice. Lipová has been independent again since November 24, 1990. Since 2006 the community has had a coat of arms and a banner.
