history

The first written mention of Netkowicz was in 1349 as the seat of the Vladiken von Netkowicz. In 1365 Anna, Budislav von Netkowicz's widow, together with her sons Blasko and Zbynko, sold the village to Martin von Budkowicz. In 1375 the village was called Nyethcowicz and in 1381 as Nietkouicz . In 1391 Martin von Budkowicz acquired a farm in Nyetkowicz from the brothers Damian, Georg and Mikesch von Netkowicz. A little later he sold the property to Niklas Roman von Myslejovice, who in 1406 sold it to Oneš von Zástřizl on Kunkovice . Other shares held various members of the Netkowicz family and Margrave Jobst of Moravia , who confirmed his part in 1387 to the chapter in Kroměříž. Oneš von Zástřizl held his share together with Kunkovice and Chvalnov until 1437. This part was later attached to the Litenčice manor. Since 1446 the village was called Nitkowicz . In 1536 a festival was mentioned on the Hradisko. In 1790 Nitkowicz consisted of 48 houses and had 291 inhabitants. Until the middle of the 19th century Nitkowicz belonged to the Litenčice manor and half to the Kroměříž manor.

The village of Cosogied was first mentioned in 1360 and called Kozoged in 1376 . In 1537 Kozogedsko was called desolate. Later a hunter's house and a manorial sheep farm were built in the corridors of the extinct village.

In the Middle Ages, the village of Opatovice was located in the woods north of Nítkovice on Švábský potok. After its extinction, it was not repopulated. Today there are two ponds and the Valachy bog in its corridors.

After the abolition of patrimonial Nitkovice / Nitkowitz formed from 1850 a community in the district administration Kroměříž. In 1869 the village had 458 inhabitants, and in 1880 there were 517. The inhabitants lived from agriculture. The current place name Nítkovice has been used since 1872 . In 1930 556 people lived in Nítkovice, in 1950 there were only 407. The drastic decline in population due to emigration continued in the second half of the 20th century. At the beginning of 1986 Nítkovice was incorporated into Litenčice. Since July 1, 1990 Nítkovice has again formed its own municipality. In 1991 the community had 283 inhabitants, ten years later there were just as many. Most of the houses in the village are now used as holiday homes.
