Tetyana Feliksiwna Lysenko ( Ukrainian Тетяна Феліксівна Лисенко , Russian Татьяна Феликсовна Лысенко , Eng. Transcription Tetyana Lysenko; * 23. June 1975 in Kherson , Ukrainian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a retired Ukrainian gymnast . She was a two-time Olympic champion .

Life path

At the age of 17 Lyssenko took part in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona for the United Team and won the gold medal in the team all-around with this. In the individual competitions she became Olympic champion on the balance beam and won bronze in the horse jump . She finished the individual all-around in 7th place.

In the same year she won a bronze medal on the floor at the World Gymnastics Championships in Paris in 1992 . In 1993 she entered the World Championships in Birmingham for Ukraine and won another bronze medal in the individual all-around.

After she finished her career, she moved to the United States . She lives in California today .
