Natalja Alexandrovna Kutschinskaja ( Russian: Наталья Александровна Кучинская ; born March 12, 1949 in Leningrad ) is a former Soviet gymnast . She was a two-time Olympic champion .

At the age of 17, Kutschinskaja was three-time world champion on the floor, on the balance beam and on the uneven bars at the World Gymnastics Championships in Dortmund in 1966 . There were two silver medals in the all-around competition with the Soviet team and in the individual competition. She finished third in the jump .

At the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City , Natalja Kutschinskaya won two gold medals: on the balance beam and with the Soviet team in a team all-around competition. In addition, she was able to get two bronze medals on the ground and in the individual all-around. She was fifth in the jump.

In the 1990s, Kuchinskaya emigrated to the United States. She is the owner and director of the International Gymnastics Gym in Illinois .

In 2006 she was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame .
