Ana Porgras (born December 18, 1993 in Galați , Galați district ) is a former Romanian gymnast .

Porgras began gymnastics in her hometown of Galați, where she was trained by Paul Gâlea (1951–2013). As a child, she moved to Barlad with her mother and sister . Her training focus initially shifted to the Romanian national team of juniors in Oneşti , while she competed at club level for the LPS CSS Buzău .

In April 2008 Ana Porgras became the European junior woman champion on the balance beam in Clermont-Ferrand . In 2009 and 2010 she was able to win the Romanian national championship title in the individual all-around and on the balance beam, while she was third on the floor. She won the gold medal on the balance beam at the 2009 Romanian International Tournament and the bronze medal on the uneven bars at the 2009 World Gymnastics Championships in London . In the same year she took first place on the balance beam at the DTB-Pokal in Stuttgart . At the 2010 European Gymnastics Championships in Birminghamshe won bronze with the team. In October 2010 Porgras won the title on the balance beam at the World Gymnastics Championships .

After several injuries and operations, Ana Porgras ended her sporting career in January 2012 and then returned to Bârlad to pursue her school leaving certificate.
