Thailand Premier League 1999

The 1999 Thailand Premier League consisted of 12 teams. The league was also known as the Caltex Premier League at the time.

At the end of the season, the FC Royal Thai Air Force celebrated their 13th club history title.

Relegation

The 11th placed of the season had to compete in the relegation against the runner-up of the Thailand Division 1 League .

The FC Royal Thai Army met the FC Royal Thai Navy which won 1-0 in the Thailand Premier League .

Queen's Cup

The 27th edition of the Queen's Cup was won by Hanyang University in South Korea . It was the 7th Queen's Cup win for the South Koreans.

Thailand FA Cup

The FC Bangkok Bank successfully defended the FA Cup against FC Osotspa M-150 . They won the final 2-1 and won the cup for the fourth time.

Continental competitions

Asian Cup Winner's Cup . There you had to give up the Shimizu S-Pulse from Japan. The game that took place in Chiang Mai was only decided on penalties. In the game for 3rd place, however, you could prevail against Navbakhor Namangan from Uzbekistan .
