Thailand Premier League 2000

The Thailand Premier League 2000 consisted of 12 teams. The league was also known as the Caltex Premier League at the time. At the end of the season, BEC Tero Sasana was able to celebrate his first championship title in the club's history.

* The Thai Farmers Bank came forward end of the season from the competition as from.
* The Sinthana was not relegated to the Thailand Division 1 League and instead took the place of the Thai Farmers Bank in the league .
* The twelfth place, the TOT, was allowed into the relegation and was not relegated directly. The 11th place would have been eligible for relegation, but since Sinthana took the place of the Thai Farmers Bank , the relegation place went to the 12th.

Season notes

The FC Thai Farmers Bank withdrew from the league at the end of the season. The reason for this was the lack of financial resources as a result of the Asian crisis. The Kasikorn Bank (formerly Thai Farmers Bank) was owner and sponsor of the club at the same time and was hard hit by the crisis.

Queen's Cup

FC Bangkok Bank won the 27th Queen's Cup and the title for the 3rd time. In the final, they defeated FC Sinthana on penalties 5-3. After regular time ended 2-2. The game was played at Suphachalasai Stadium .

Thailand FA Cup

BEC Tero Sasana won her first FA Cup .
