Thai Premier League 2012

The 2013 Thai Premier League was the 17th season of the highest Thai football league since it was founded in 1996.

The season started on March 2, 2013 and ended on November 3, 2013.

The clubs played a double round tournament , which resulted in a total of 34 games per team. The game was played according to the 3-point rule (three points per win, one point per tie). The table was determined according to the following criteria:

  1. Number of points scored
  2. Number of points scored in direct comparison
  3. Goal difference in direct comparison
  4. Number of goals in direct comparison
  5. Goal difference from all games
  6. Number of goals in all games

At the end of the season, the team with the highest points qualified for the group stage of the AFC Champions League 2012 . The runner-up and third place started in the second qualifying round of the Champions League. The club with the fewest points was relegated to the second-rate Thai Premier League Division 1 .
