Cleiton Augusto Oliveira Silva , also called Cleiton Silva , (born February 3, 1987 in São Geraldo da Piedade ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

Cleiton Silva learned to play football at the Brazilian club Madureira EC, which is based in Rio de Janeiro . He signed his first professional contract in 2008 with his youth club. Here he ran 37 times and scored 15 goals. In 2010 he moved to Thailand for the then first division club Osotspa M150 . From 2010 to 2011 he played 27 times for the club and scored 10 goals. In 2013 he moved to league competitor BEC Tero Sasana FC . He scored 42 times in 63 games. In 2013 he left Thailand and went back to South America . From 2013 to mid-2014 he played for the Mexican club Delfines FC. Here he only got 10 games and scored one goal. In July 2014 Cleiteo Silva moved back to Thailand. In Thailand he signed a contract with Muangthong United . From 2014 to 2016 he played 79 times for MUTD and scored an incredible 57 goals. In 2017, Cleiton moved to China . Here he signed a one-year contract with Shanghai Shenxin . After 26 games and 17 goals, he went back to Thailand. He signed a contract with first division side Chiangrai United . Here it was only used in the initial series. In 17 games he hit the goal 5 times. For the return series in 2018 he was awarded to the league rivals Suphanburi FC . Here he hit the goal 9 times in 12 games. With the expiry of his contract in Chiangrai, he was signed by Suphanburi FC. In the 2019 season he made 30 top division appearances and scored eleven goals. His contract was not renewed at the end of 2019. From the beginning of 2020 to July 2020 he was without a contract or association. In August, the Indian club Bengaluru FC signed him. With the club from Bengaluru he plays in the first Indian league, the Indian Super League .
