action

Japan in the present. The Brazilian gangster Mario, who has been living in Japan for some time, uses a spectacular action to save his Chinese lover Kei from threatened deportation when he snatches her from the police at gunpoint. Subsequently, the intention is to leave the country with forged papers for Taiwan . Unfortunately, their documents are damaged in a dispute, so that in addition to money, new photo IDs are required as soon as possible. The couple receives support from a Russian escape helper who likes to drink and who promises them help in return for a fee. To finance this, they want to steal the income from a local cockfighting event of a triad boss named Ko, who in turn is passionate about Kei.

Together with two befriended accomplices, Carlos and Rikardo, the lovers finally raid that place, but unexpectedly get caught in a drug deal between the Triads and the Yakuza . Instead of the money hoped for, you get several kilograms of cocaine through a mix-up . The illegal drugs are sold to a Brazilian middleman.

In addition to the police, the two groups of organized crime, which are primarily concerned with stolen drugs, are soon on the heels of the predatory quartet. They also want to take revenge for the loss of face they have suffered. When the middleman Sanchez is caught and intimidated a little later by Fushimi, a high-ranking member and later leader of the Yakuza, he reveals information to his Japanese tormentors. The troops are now doing everything they can to find Mario.

The planned departure of Kei and Mario has been postponed. While searching for the two of them, Fushimi comes across the blind half-Japanese Carla and kidnaps her, unsuspecting that she is the little foster daughter of Mario's ex-girlfriend Lucia, a prostitute . When Lucia turns to Mario, she assures him - plagued by feelings of guilt - for help. Mario and Kei immediately return to Shibuya , where a bounty has now been placed on Mario. As soon as he arrives, Kei is kidnapped, but this time by the triads. Meanwhile, there are disputes among the suspicious gangsters, in the course of which Fushimi kills triad boss Ko. At the same time, he takes the kei present hostage.

The battle-hardened Mario finally frees the kidnapped Carla from the hands of the Yakuza; a little later also Kei. He is seriously wounded in a final duel with Fushimi. At the end of the film, Mario, who has recovered in the meantime, succumbs to an assassination attempt while leaving Japan. Lucia previously killed her ex-boyfriend in the presence of Kei, although her motives remain unclear.
