The Green Box - Art Editions is an international art book publisher based in Berlin .

The publishing house was founded in 2005 by the designer Anja Lutz and the art historian Axel Lapp .

The focus of the publishing program is on publications on photography and contemporary art , which are created in particularly close cooperation with the artists and are individually furnished. Several of the publisher's publications received awards in the competition for the most beautiful German books from the Buchkunst Foundation.

Probably the most famous book by the publisher is the picture book by DADA artist Hannah Höch from 2008, published in 1945.

Many books were created in collaboration with institutions such as the Kunsthaus Baselland , the Berlinische Galerie or the Museum of Modern Art in Frankfurt am Main .
