The Masters was an invitation tournament in darts and was organized for the first time from November 1st to 3rd, 2013 by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). The venue was the Royal Highland Showground in Edinburgh .

The first winner in tournament history was Phil Taylor .

format

The tournament was played in a knockout system . Game mode in the 1st round was a best of 11 legs . A best of 19 legs in the final . Each leg was played in double-out mode.

Prize money

A total of £ 160,000 in prize money was distributed. The prize money was distributed among the participants as follows:

In German-speaking countries, the event was not broadcast on TV.

Internationally, however, all games were transmitted directly to pdc.tv by the PDC.
