The Masters was an invitation-only tournament in darts and was organized for the second time from November 1st to 2nd, 2014 by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). The venue for the second time was the Royal Highland Showground in Edinburgh .
The defending champion was Phil Taylor . The winner was James Wade , who won the tournament for the first time.
format
The tournament was played in a knockout system . Game mode in the 1st round was a best of 19 legs . In the final a best of 21 legs . Each leg was played in double-out mode.
Prize money
A total of £ 160,000 in prize money was distributed. The prize money was distributed among the participants as follows:

Sport1 broadcast the event in German-speaking countries . The station can also be received in Austria via cable and satellite.
Internationally, all games were also transmitted directly to pdc.tv by the PDC.
