Theofanis Christodoulou ( Greek Θεοφάνης Χριστοδούλου ; born May 22, 1965 in Athens , Greece ) is a former Greek basketball player and member of the European championship team from 1987.

Christodoulou was considered one of the best forwards in Europe in the 1980s and 1990s. In his professional career, the 2.03 meter tall small forward played alongside Dafni and Panionios Athens for Panathinaikos Athens, where he won the Greek championship in 1998 .

Christodoulou made his debut with the Greek national team on August 31, 1983 in a 62-51 win over Bulgaria . In the following 14 years Christodoulou was one of the regular players in Greece and took part in five European championships, one world championship and the Olympic Games in Atlanta. Christodoulou achieved his greatest success with the national team in 1987 when he won the European Championship in front of a home crowd. In 1997, after an encounter against Russia , Christodoulou resigned from the national team after 219 international matches in which he scored 2,264 points (10.34 on average).
