Dimosthenis Dikoudis ( Greek Δημοσθένης Ντικούδης , born June 24, 1977 in Larisa ) is a former Greek basketball player.

Career

His career began with Dimosthenis Dikoudis, who with a height of 2.06 m can be used both in the position of power forward and as a center , at the Greek club Olympia Larisa where he was under contract until 1998. Dikoudis then moved to AEK Athens . With AEK he won two trophies and the Saporta Cup in addition to a Greek championship . In 2003 Dikoudis moved to Spain where he stayed for one season at Pamesa Valencia. In 2004 he signed a contract with the Russian top club CSKA Moscow with which he was able to win a championship and a cup. After a season with his old club Valencia, Dikoudis finally returned after three years abroad to Panathinaikos Athens in Greece , where he won the triple and the double in the following two seasons .

National team

Dikoudis was an integral part of the Greek national team between 1999 and 2008, with whom he won the European basketball championship in Belgrade in 2005. Greece defeated the German team in the final. At the Basketball World Cup 2006 Dikoudis reached the final with Greece and won the silver medal there. Dikoudis announced his resignation from the national team on June 16, 2008. In 114 international matches, he had a total of 957 points (8.39 points on average).
