Thierry Neuvic (born August 3, 1970 in Montreuil , Seine-Saint-Denis , France ) is a French theater and film actor .

Life

Neuvic comes from a Roma family . His grandfather had received the name of the French community Neuvic , where he was abandoned as a child. Thierry Neuvic, who grew up with his grandmother, moved to the south of France at the age of 18, where he took a theater course. After a teacher had certified him as an actor, Neuvic moved to Paris . There he trained as an actor at the private drama school Cours Florent and at the Conservatoire de la rue Blanche.

Neuvic initially worked for several years in the theater, where he appeared on stage in Bertolt Brecht's Baal and Frank Wedekind's Lulu, among others . From 1995 he worked in a number of French television productions, such as in the television drama Do not forget Sarajevo (1997) at the side of Bernard Giraudeau and Mathilde Seigner . In 2000, he was next to Juliette Binoche his big screen debut as a war photographer in Michael Haneke for the Palme d'Or nominated film code: unknown . Neuvic continued to be seen on television. In 2005 he was part of the cast of the television series Clara Sheller - In Love in Paris for six episodes , in which François Vincentelli played his role in the second season. From 2006 to 2012 Neuvic played regularly in the series Mafiosa . He was back on screen in Marina de Van's thriller Don't Look Back (2008) as the husband of Sophie Marceau and Monica Bellucci . A year later he appeared in the film adaptation of Oskar and the Lady in Pink , a story by Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt , which Schmitt also directed. In Clint Eastwood's film drama Hereafter - Life after (2010) with Matt Damon and Cecile de France and in Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011) Neuvic has appeared in supporting roles.

In Sebastian und die Feuerretter (2015) and Belle & Sebastian - Freunde fürs Leben (2017), the two sequels to the Cécile Aubry film Belle & Sebastian about the friendship between an orphan boy and a wild dog during the Second World War , Neuvic took over the Role of the long-missing father of Sebastian. In 2017, he played the suddenly missing husband of Virginie Ledoyen in the miniseries Juste un regard for six episodes .

Thierry Neuvic was in a relationship with actress Hélène Fillières for several years until 2011 , who played his sister in the Mafiosa series . From 2013 to 2016 he had a relationship with the singer Jenifer Bartoli , whom he met while shooting the comedy film Les Francis (2014). The connection resulted in a son (* 2014).
