Thomas Pötz
Thomas Pötz (artist name: KAVA ) (born March 1, 1981 in Vienna ) is an Austrian musician , sound designer and sound engineer .
Life
From 1998 to 1999 Thomas Pötz was trained as a sound engineer. Since 2009 he has been managing director of a film production and recording studio in Vienna and produces for Fabrique Records . In 2017 Pötz won the Austrian film award for the best sound design with cockchafer fly . In 2019 he was awarded the Austrian Film Prize for Cops and in 2020 for Nevrland .
Pötz is a member of the Academy of Austrian Films of the European Film Academy and the Association of Austrian Sound Designers .
