Thunder Heart ( English for, half blood ') is the first EP of the German synth pop - duo Wolfheim .
Creation and artwork
All pieces on the EP were written by the two Wolfsheim members Peter Heppner and Markus Reinhardt. They wrote the piece Anybody's Window in collaboration with Carlos Perón. All tracks were specially mastered and produced by Perón. The EP was released under the music label Strange Ways Records and distributed by EFA Medien GmbH Tonträger Produktion. The recordings were made in the Perón / Kostka Studio in Grafschaft , under the direction of Spliny. On the cover of the EP - in addition to the artist name and album title - a comic illustration of a heart in which a fool sleeps can be seen. The inscription “Everything is true” can be found on the back. The artwork comes from 4 = 1 (Society for the Development of Multimedia Software mbH).
Publication and promotion
The first release of Thunderheart took place on October 9, 1992 in Germany, in the same year the album was released across Europe (including Denmark). The EP was released on CD and vinyl . It consists of three tracks and includes two new studio recordings and a remix version of an old piece. A single release from this EP did not take place.

All lyrics are in English. Musically, the songs move in the realm of dark waves and synth pop . The EP consists of three studio recordings. The titles A Look into Your Heart and Youth & Greed are new compositions that could not be found on any studio album later. In Anybody's Window is a remix version of the already on the previous studio album No Happy View published original. The remix was made by the producer trio Nine-O-Nine ( Jose Alvarez-Brill , Gento Navaho and Carlos Perón).

To date, the EP has not been able to place itself in any official charts and exact sales figures are also not known.
