It's Not Too Late (Do not Sorrow) ( English for, It's too late (do not worry) 'not) is a song of the German synth pop - duo Wolfsheim . The track is the second single from their debut album No Happy View .

Creation and artwork

The song was written by the two Wolfsheim members Peter Heppner and Markus Reinhardt. The song was originally produced by Heppner and Reinhardt, the single by the producer team Nine-O-Nine ( Jose Alvarez-Brill , Gento Navaho and Carlos Perón ). The producer team also did the mixing, arranging, recording and mastering. The single was released under the music labels Contraseña Records and Strange Ways Records and distributed by EFA Medien GmbH Tonträger Produktion and Indigo . The recordings and production work took place in Musik Design in Aachen . On the black and brown cover of the maxi single, only the inscription of the artist name and song title, as well as the band logo, can be seen. On the back there is a quote from JA (Jose Alvarez-Brill) from 1992: “I wish it were night and Wolfsheim would come!”. The artwork comes from Ulrike Rank and Ralf Wittke.

Publication and promotion

The first release of It's Not Too Late (Do not Sorrow) took place on 14 February 1992 in Germany. In the same year a release in Austria followed, and after more than a year in Spain in 1993. The piece was released as a maxi single and vinyl record . In addition to the radio and extended version of It's Not Too Late (Don't Sorrow), the maxi single includes a remix made by Nine-O-Nine , as well as the song Angry Today , as the B-side . A 7 "vinyl record contains only one version of It's Not Too Late (Don't Sorrow) . A 12" vinyl record contains the extended and remixed versions of It's Not Too Late (Don't Sorrow) and the song Angry Today .

When It's Not Too Late (Do not Sorrow) is a remake of the original Do not Sorrow , which in 1989 on the second Wolfsheim- Demo Any But Pretty was released. The original song was recorded, composed and produced entirely by Heppner and Reinhardt.

To date, the song has not been able to place in any official charts and exact sales figures are not known. The single became known to a larger audience in Europe eleven years later in 2003 when the Italian DJ Gigi D'Agostino placed the piece on his sampler Il programmino di Gigi D'Agostino . In addition to It's Not Too Late (Don't Sorrow) , Wolfsheim's single The Sparrows and the Nightingales was also included on the sampler.
