Brother Cosmonaut is the second EP of the German synth pop - duo Wolfsheim .
Creation and artwork
All pieces on the EP were specially written by the two Wolfsheim members Peter Heppner and Markus Reinhardt. All titles were produced in their studio form by Carlos Perón , three in collaboration with Heppner and Reinhardt. The songs were mixed and mastered by Perón. The EP was released under the music label Strange Ways Records and distributed to Indigo . The studio productions took place in Musik Design in Aachen , in Peron / Kostka Studio in Grafschaft and in Sound Studio N in Cologne . On the black and white cover of the EP - in addition to the artist name and album title - an aerial photograph of the Rhine-Hessian community of Wolfsheim , dated December 20, 1994, can be seen. There is a 24-page booklet for the EP , which includes various photographs of the duo and a complete discography to date . On the back is the inscription "Wolfsheim was not named after the place of the same name in Rhineland-Palatinate , but after the figure from the German translation of" The Great Gatsby "by the wanderer F. Scott Fitzgerald . As a suggestion to potential interviewers - write it behind your ears! ”To find. The pictures were taken by Willy Leisten. The artwork comes from Brücke 5, Ulrike Rank and the Neues Leben Berlin publishing house.
