Till Schmidt
Till Schmidt (born June 8, 1970 in Berlin ) is a German actor .
Life
Till Schmidt comes from a family of actors. He grew up in Halle, Senftenberg and Magdeburg. After graduating from high school and completing basic military service with the NVA, he studied journalism (minor: sport) at the University of Leipzig between 1991 and 1994 .
From 1994 to 1998 he studied at the Rostock University of Music and Theater , where he successfully completed his degree in acting.
Then his first engagement took him to the new theater Halle (1998–2005) under the direction of Peter Sodann . He then played at Theater Rudolstadt until 2008 , from where Artistic Director Axel Vornam took him to the Heilbronn Theater as a member of the ensemble . Since 2013 Till Schmidt has been back in Halle at the new theater in Halle under the direction of Matthias Brenner .
Till Schmidt also played as a guest at the Rostock Volkstheater and the Uckermärkische Bühnen Schwedt .
