Thomas Neumann (born February 9, 1946 in Nehringen , Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ) is a German actor .

Life

Thomas Neumann received an acting training from 1964 to 1967 at the State Drama School Berlin-Niederschöneweide . This was followed by theater engagements at the Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater Schwerin (1967–1969), the Brandenburg Theater (1969–1971), the Hans Otto Theater (1971–1977) and the Deutsches Theater Berlin (1982–2000). He made his first film appearance in 1967 in the DEFA film Brennende Ruhr .

From 2004 Neumann achieved nationwide fame through the portrayal of the small crook Hansen Hansen in the ZDF crime series SOKO Wismar .
