Tim Kircher (born March 10, 1999 in Rastatt ) is a German soccer player who has been under contract with VfB Lübeck since July 2020 .

Career

Kircher began his football career near his home with SV Au am Rhein . In 2008 he switched to the youth team at Karlsruher SC . After he had passed through the KSC junior team and had already played 2 games for the second team in the fifth-class Oberliga Baden-Württemberg , he signed a professional contract for the 2018/19 season dated until 2020 and from then on belonged to the professional squad in the third division . Already in the preseason he was used for the first team in the Badischer Pokal in the semifinals against SV Waldhof Mannheim and in the victory in the final against 1. CfR Pforzheim . Kircher completed 3 third division games (once from the start) under head coach Alois Schwartz and was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with KSC .

For the 2019/20 season , the defender was loaned to FC Carl Zeiss Jena . He completed 26 third division games (18 times from the start), but rose with the club as bottom of the table in the Regionalliga Nordost .

Kircher, however, remained in the 3rd division and moved to the newly promoted VfB Lübeck for the 2020/21 season , with whom he signed a one-year contract.
