Yannick Deichmann (born August 13, 1994 in Hamburg ) is a German soccer player . The defensive midfielder is under contract with VfB Lübeck .

Career

Deichmann moved in 2009 from FC St. Pauli to the C-Juniors of Hamburger SV . In July 2012 he went to Borussia Dortmund , where he stayed until the end of his senior years. For the 2013/14 season he returned to FC St. Pauli and played with its second team in the Regionalliga Nord . On May 24, 2014, he scored his first competitive goal in a 2-1 win at BV Cloppenburg by scoring a 1-0 lead after 29 minutes. For the 2015/16 season Deichmann moved up to the first team, but continued to play for the U-23. On August 16, 2015, he made his debut in a 3-2 home game against SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the 2nd Bundesliga and made four appearances for the first team during the season.

For the 2016/17 season Deichmann moved to third division club VfR Aalen , with whom he signed a two-year contract.

Deichmann has been playing at VfB Lübeck since the 2017/18 season . There he was part of the regular staff under head coach Rolf Martin Landerl and played 32 games (27 times from the start) in the Regionalliga Nord , in which he scored 5 goals. In the 2018/19 season , 33 appearances followed (26 times from the start), in which he scored 4 goals. The 2019/20 season was interrupted and finally canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March. At this point in time, VfB Lübeck had played 25 games and was in 1st place. Deichmann had played 24 times (22 times from the start) and scored 7 goals. VfB Lübeck was declared champion and promoted to the 3rd division , as the northern relay was the direct promoter this season.
