Timo Fakhravar

Timo Fakhravar (* 1989 in Freiburg ) is a German actor .

Life

Timo Fakhravar completed his acting studies from 2008 to 2012 at the Zurich University of the Arts . During his studies he won several sponsorship awards for young actors and young theater professionals. After graduating, he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Schauspielhaus Zurich from 2012 to 2014 . In 2013 he was a guest at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt , where he a. a. played the title role in a Tschick stage version.

From 2014 to 2016 he was part of the permanent ensemble at the Schauspiel Frankfurt, where he appeared in classical and modern roles and worked with Samuel Weiss , Falk Richter , Laura Linnenbaum , Ulrich Rasche , Jorinde Dröse , Jürgen Kruse , Alexander Eisenach and Christian Brey . His roles at the Schauspiel Frankfurt included a. a. Givola in Arturo Ui (2014), St. Just in Dantons Tod (2015) and Sebastian in Was ihr wollt (2015).

From the 2016/17 season until 2018 he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Schauspiel Leipzig , where he worked in productions a. a. by Philipp Preuss , Claudia Bauer , Bruno Cathomas and Nuran David Calis could be seen. In 2017 he played Azor in the rococo comedy Der Streit by Pierre Carlet de Marivaux at the Leipzig Summer Theater at the Gohliser Schlösschen . In the 2017/18 season he played the two comic roles Flaut and Tisbe in the Shakespeare classic A Midsummer Night's Dream at Schauspiel Leipzig .

Fakhravar also stood in front of the camera for some film and television productions, in which he a. a. filmed with Markus Sehr , Philipp Leinemann , Oren Schmuckler and Oliver Liliensiek . He also appeared in several short films. In the ZDF series Bloody Beginners (2020) he took on a leading role in the episode as the unouted, homosexual car salesman Adil Shibab, who lives in a pseudo relationship and is suspected of having committed a crime.

He also worked as a speaker for radio productions for the Hessian Broadcasting Corporation and appeared as a reciter at readings. Fakhravar lives in Berlin .
