Tyrolean State Prize for Science

The Tyrolean State Prize for Science is a science award from the Austrian state of Tyrol .

The State Prize for Science has been awarded annually by the Tyrolean state government since 1984 in recognition of outstanding achievements in the field of science . The 2015 award is endowed with 14,000 euros. A sponsorship award for young scientists has also been awarded since 1996 ; in 2015 this is endowed with 4,000 euros. The award is made by resolution of the state government on the unanimous proposal of a jury.
