The men's Bundesliga 1966/67 was the first season of the top German division in table tennis. It took the place of the four major leagues, the winners of which had previously played out the German champions. Master was DJK TuSA 06 Düsseldorf .

The women did not compete in a single-track Bundesliga until the 1975/76 season .

Eight teams took part. The four top league leaders of the previous season as well as four other teams from the 12 teams that had occupied places 2 to 4 in the major leagues and played the remaining four places among themselves were qualified. Master was DJK TuSA 06 Düsseldorf , TSV Milbertshofen relegated and was replaced by the three clubs Borussia Düsseldorf , Eintracht Frankfurt and Tennis Borussia Berlin , which increased the league to ten teams for the next season.

  • The master team DJK TuSA 06 Düsseldorf : Eberhard Schöler , Dieter Forster , Hans-Jörg Offergeld , Franz-Walter Beyss , Helmut Diekers, Albert Paessens, Herbert Dombrowski
  • The most successful player of the season was Eberhard Schöler, who only lost to Martin Ness .
  • The game Post SV Augsburg against SSV Reutlingen was repeated because Reutlingen had successfully protested against the original game date.
