The men's Bundesliga 1970/71 was the 5th season of the top German division in table tennis. Champion Borussia Dusseldorf .

The women did not compete in a single-track Bundesliga until the 1975/76 season .

Ten teams took part, new were the Meidericher TTC and SV Weißblau-Allianz München , which rose for SV Moltkeplatz Essen and SSV Reutlingen . Champion Borussia Dusseldorf , again with 18 wins from 18 games. The SV Weißblau-Allianz München and DJK TuSA 06 Düsseldorf were relegated and replaced by Hertha BSC and TTC Mörfelden .
