The Bundesliga 2005/06 was the 40th season for men and the 31st season for women in the top German table tennis division. The champions were the TTC Frickenhausen and Müllermilch Langweid .

Men

Clubs of the table tennis Bundesliga in the 2005/2006 season

Ten teams took part in the men's competition, with Werder Bremen , TSV Schwalbe Tündern and TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell , who replaced relegated TSV Graefelfing and SV Plüderhausen (the previous season had only nine teams). The best four teams after the end of the regular season took part in the play-off rounds to determine the German champions. In two finals, the TTC Frickenhausen prevailed against the TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen and thus became German champions for the first time. The last two clubs were supposed to be relegated, but only Plüderhausen moved up from below, so that only Werder Bremen had to leave the 1st Bundesliga.
