The 1975/76 Bundesliga was the 10th season for men and the 1st season for women in the top German table tennis division. Champions were VfB Altena and DSC Kaiserberg .

Men

season

Ten teams took part, new were TSV Milbertshofen and VfL Osnabrück , who had been promoted for TTC Remlingen and TTV Metelen . Champion Borussia Dusseldorf . The Meidericher TTC and the VfL Osnabrück got down and were replaced by the TTC Calw and the TTC Grünweiß Bad Hamm .

Meiderich withdrew his team for economic reasons, Düsseldorf protested in vain against the rating of the game in Altena due to inadequate playing conditions. With a total of 20,745 viewers, a significant decrease compared to the previous season was observed. The best player in the upper pair cross was Wilfried Lieck .

Ten teams took part, for the first time in a single-track Bundesliga. The DSC Kaiserberg became champions . The TTC Olympia Koblenz and Oberalster VfW were relegated and replaced by the TTC Calw and TSV Nord Harrislee .

4,850 spectators saw the competition. The most successful player was Wiebke Hendriksen from Kleve.
