Titular diocese of Aureliopolis in Lydia
The diocese Aureliopolis in Lydia ( Italian Diocesi di Aureliopoli di Lidia , Latin Dioecesis Aureliopolitana in Lydia ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to an earlier diocese in the Asian region of Lydia in the west of today's Turkey . The diocese belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Sardis .
