Titular diocese of Metellopolis
Metellopolis ( Italian : Metellopoli ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a lost bishop's seat in the ancient city of the same name in the Phrygia region of Asia Minor (now western Turkey ), which in late antiquity was politically part of the Roman province of Phrygia Pacatiana . He belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Hierapolis in Phrygia .
